The city Kežmarok is a true treasure. Its history dates back to the 13th century and thanks to its monuments it is one of the most important historical towns in Slovakia. The dominant feature of the town is the Renaissance Kežmarok Castle, in which there is a museum that will introduce you to the town's history.
The most valuable monument is the Wooden Articular Church, which is also listed on the UNESCO World Heritage list. It is entirely built of wood without a single nail and is a true masterpiece.
