Podtatranske Museum in Poprad is one of the oldest museums in Slovakia and focuses on the cultural and natural history of the Sub-Tatra region. Here you will find rich archaeological, ethnographic, historical and natural science collections. The museum is especially known for the unique find of a cast of a Neanderthal braincase from Gánovce, which is the only one in the world.
