The trip to the Chalet at the Green Pleso is one of the most beautiful in the whole Tatras. The starting point of the hike is the car park in Biela Voda near Kežmarok, from where a yellow marked trail will lead you to the heart of the Tatra nature. The journey itself is an experience, as you pass through varied forest growths and alongside rocky formations.
The climb is moderately demanding in terms of time , but the reward is a breathtaking view of Zelené pleso. Its deep green colour, caused by the mineralisation of the water, is truly unique. The hut is an ideal place to relax and replenish your energy, where you can enjoy traditional meals overlooking the surrounding peaks.
