The Treetop Trail is one of the most popular year-round attractions in the entire region. It is located in the Bachledova valley on the ridge of Spišská Magura and offers a unique view of the surrounding nature. It is the first and only trail of its kind in Slovakia that leads above the treetops and allows visitors to experience the forest from a completely different perspective. Thanks to its barrier-free nature, it is accessible to everyone, including children in prams and wheelchairs.
The trail itself is a wooden structure with a length of more than 1.2 km. During your walk, you will stop at educational stations that will introduce you to the local flora and fauna in an interactive way. The highlight of the experience is the 32-metre-high observation tower, from which you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Belianske Tatras, Pieniny and the whole of Zamagurie. For the adventurous, there is also a special net at the top and a slide.
The trail is open all year round and is an ideal activity for families, couples and all nature lovers.
The treetop trail can be reached by cable car or on foot along the hiking trail.
